Current Role / Life Focus: My primary life focus is my family.  But after that Shamanism is the driving factor in everything else. (Of course, as part of who I am, shamanism also is relevant to and in my family.) I have moved into management at my tech job so I can now help grow and aid the engineers that report to me.  I volunteer for this coven, Northern MI E3, The Greenspire School, I am the assistant teacher at TC Samurai Arts, and a Non-Skating Official for the TC Roller Derby Team (Where I go by “Last Slamurai”).  All of this comes back to my primary mission: “I build relationships to create a community in which I wish for my grandchildren's grandchildren to live.”

Connection to the Coven: I am a founding member of the coven and am now an elder and high priest.  I am a guardian, an e-guardian, our tech guru, I head the Troll Patrol (Security), and spearhead the Coffee with a Witch.

Spiritual Path & Values: I trained in the path of a Paq’o of the Q’ero people.  The Q’ero are a tribe that live in the mountains of Peru and are what is left of the Inca Paq’o Class. Paq’o is loosely translated as Shaman, Priest, Medicine Person, Wise Person. And after all of my work on this path, what I have learned to value above all else, and in which I put my faith: Relationships.

What I Hope to Contribute: I hope to contribute a feeling of safety within our interactions.  With the feelings of safety, people can feel safe to be themselves fully, and truly build strong relationships.  With that strength, we can build our coven, and our community without fear of others, as we have found safety, loyalty, and strength in our relationships.

Community Connections: Generations Ahead, Greenspire School District, Northern Michigan E3, TC Samurai Arts, Traverse City Roller Derby, and several other groups.

One Thing to Know About Me: I have a black belt in a martial art called Nami Ryu, which is an art built upon the samurai family style Yanagi Ryu. Our group works closely with the Shinbukan Dojo of the Koroda samurai family style currently led by Koroda Yasamasa Sensei out of Japan.
