The Spell Jar Adventure
All October long • Downtown Traverse City
Throughout the month of October, participating businesses around Traverse City will become stops along a magical Spell Jar Adventure. Visit each location, collect a pinch of enchanted ingredients, and build your very own spell jar one stop at a time.
How the Adventure Works
1. Start anywhere. There’s no required starting point or specific order. Pick up your Spell Jar Adventure passport and begin wherever you like!
2. Carry your jar with you. You’ll receive one spell jar to use throughout your adventure. Keep it with you as you travel from business to business.
3. Collect the ingredients. At each participating location, you’ll receive a small pinch of that business’s designated magical ingredient to add to your jar.
4. Speak the spell. Each stop will have its own incantation, provided on your adventure flyer. Add your ingredient, recite the incantation, and continue on your way.
5. Get your passport stamped. Once you’ve completed the ritual at each location, have your Spell Jar Adventure passport stamped before heading to your next stop.
6. Return to Blessed Be. Once you’ve gathered your ingredients, bring your completed spell jar and passport back to Blessed Be Tea & Apothecary. We’ll perform the final sealing of your spell jar, and you’ll turn in your completed passport for a chance to win a prize!
Passports need to be turned in by October 31st!

The adventure runs all October long, so there’s no need to rush. Gather your ingredients at your own pace, explore local businesses, discover something new, and create a spell jar that is uniquely yours.

(Please note, the only day this adventure is not available is Oct. 17th during Witches Night Out, we will have other Magickal activities that day! )
